Occasionally rub with mineral oil or beeswax to prevent wood from drying out. Remove odors by using solution of table salt and half a lemon. Rub onto spoon rest, let sit for 2–3 minutes, then clean with damp cloth. Remove excess moisture with paper towel. Store in dry area away from extreme temperatures
